Card For A New Friend

I created this card for a man that I meant at our art center where we see various musical performances.  He sits next to me, 94 years old and is still quite sharp.  He seems a little grumpy, but we chatted, and I asked him just that and he responded with a smile.  I knew he knew that I got him.

He has missed the last three concerts, so I sent him this card to hopefully brighten his day.  His friend, who usually accompanies him shared with me that he was having some health issues and stayed in his PJ's all day and hasn't left his apartment.  I haven't heard from him but I'm hopeful that he gets better and starts attending the concerts again.
