Sweetest Thing

Below is a card I made for my cousin's girlfriend using a new Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog.  You are going to love this set!  It is so Sweet!!

I started by adhering a panel from the How Sweet It Is DSP (available Jan 3) to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL. Then I adhered a small strip of that DSP to the card front with SNAIL. I wrapped a strand of Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to a Coastal Cabana card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sweetest Thing photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 3) in Gorgeous Grape ink on a piece of Melon Mambo card stock and then adhered it to the card front.  I stamped the two jar images from the Sweetest Thing stamp set in VeraMark Ink on a piece of Coastal Cabana, sprinkled the images with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Jar of Sweets Framelits Dies (available Jan 3) and adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the jar, candy and sentiment images from the Sweetest Thing stamp set in Smoky Slate, Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

A fun and easy card and I believe anyone would love to receive this for their Birthday.
