Beautiful Day Butterfly

Hi everyone.  I hope you're doing well.  I am trying to be pro-active and get posts done as well as loading cards to my Etsy shop.  Did you know I sell my handmade cards on my Etsy shop?  If you didn't, click HERE to see what's available. It's a time consuming process but I have to make time to do this.  I was able to upload about 15 cards today in about 2 1/2 hours.

  Butterfly
I wanted to share this card with you which is one we made in one of my stamp classes.  I used the butterfly from the Beautiful Day stamp set.  I stamped it on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and a piece of Vellum cardstock using VersaMark ink.  I then heat embossed with Silver embossing powder.  After it cooled I then colored the butterfly using Stampin' Blends- Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Night of Navy and Old Olive. Both on the card and the back of the Vellum.  By doing this it gives the look of stained glass. I then fussy cut the Vellum Butterfly and attached it to the top of the butterfly using a couple of Mini Glue Dots.  I then stamped the mountain and cloud images from the Waterfront stamp set on the sides of the Butterfly and on top.  In the middle I stamped "Friends".

This is such an easy card to put together and your friends will be quite impressed.  You can purchase any of the supplies I used from my On-Line store and below you will find a list of products I used to make this card.
