Tea Together

Below is a card we made at one of my previous classes.  This stamp set Tea Together along with the Framelits will be carried over into the 2019-2020 catalog which comes out June 4th.  I wasn't sure about this set but I have used it several times and really do like it.  Quite a few ways to use the teapot or the cup and saucer together or separate.

Tea time 3-27I designed this using a 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, Vellum card stock 4 X 5 1/4, Melon Mambo CS 2 1/4 X 4 and cut out with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits.

The teapot is stamped in VersaMark onto a scrap of Whisper White CS and covered with Copper Embossing Powder (make sure to rub the Embossing Buddy on your cardstock before applying the VersaMark Ink).  Heat set using the Heat Tool from Stampin' Up.  Stamp three of the small flowers in Memento Black ink onto a scrap of Whisper White and run both through the Big Shot using the coordinating Framelits.

Color the flowers using Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blends and Old Olive for the leaves.  Add a small Pearl to the center of each flower and attach to the Teapot using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Stamp the sentiment in VersaMark ink and cover with the Copper Embossing Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.  Run this through the Big Shot using the small Rectangle Stiched Framelit.

Attach the Melon Mambo CS to the Vellum CS.  Add a 1/2 X  2 1/2  of Gold Foil paper attaching it to the bottom of the Melon Mambo.  Attach the TeaPot to the front of the Melon Mambo using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Add SNAIL Adhesive to the back of the Vellum behind the Melon Mambo CS as to not see the adhesive when it's attached.
